Cahaya Cabins is your laidback tropical escape—an island resort made for divers, beach lovers, and free spirits. Run by a close-knit group of friends and family who love the sea and meeting fellow adventurers, we’ve created a space that’s all about shared experiences, salty air, and barefoot living.

Here, you’re not just a guest—you’re part of our island family. Help out, hang out, and make memories with like-minded people from all over the world. Whether you're exploring the reefs, watching the sunrise with a hot coffee, playing with our resident doggos, or jamming under the stars, Cahaya is your home on the island.

Cahaya Cabins is a casual, dive-friendly, and community-centered island resort. Here’s what you need to know before settling in:

• We’re all about connecting people through diving, ocean adventures, food, and music.
• Saturdays and holidays can get lively with karaoke nights, beach bonfires, and acoustic sessions.
• If you're looking for complete quiet, consider booking a private room or visiting on weekdays.

🐚 ROOMS & ISLAND STAYS

All our accommodations are fan-cooled and surrounded by tropical charm. Choose from:

🛖 2 Large Cabins — sleeps up to 6 persons each

🛖 3 Teepee Huts  — cozy spaces for up to 3 persons each

🛖 2 Rooms  — perfect for small groups up to 4 persons

🚐 TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

Cahaya Cabins is situated on the serene island of Tingloy, nestled within a secluded cove accessible exclusively by boat.

Guests may reach us by driving to Mabini, Batangas, where boat transfers to the resort are available. Alternatively, visitors can take a ferry or fast craft from Mabini, Batangas, proceed via tricycle or motorcycle to Marikaban Proper, and from there, board a boat directly to Cahaya Cabins.

Most convenient way to get to the boat pick-up point is to drive a private car (Google Maps Pin is Wetified Freedivers HQ) where pay parking is available at ₱200 per overnight.

Public commute is also an option.

• Ride any bus going to Batangas Grand Terminal where jeepneys and taxis are available.
• Jeepney + Tricycle Ride: Transfer to a jeepney going to Mabini and ask driver to drop you off at McDonalds Mabini. Tricycles are available at McDonalds Mabini, ask the tricycle driver to take you to "Guitisan, San Teodoro near Tita Fhel Lomi Haus". Fare estimate is ₱50-₱100 for the jeepney and ₱100-₱250 for the tricycle.
• Taxi Ride: ask driver to take you to "Wetified Freedivers HQ, Sitio Guitisan, Brgy. San Teodoro, Mabini". Fare estimate is ₱1,000-₱1,300 which is good for up to 4 persons.

Private Airport Transfers ✈️

₱6,000 per way (₱12,000 round-trip) — From NAIA Terminals 1, 2, or 3 directly to San Teodoro, Mabini (boat pick-up area).

Car Pool Service 🚗  ₱700 one-way   ₱1,200 roundtrip

Regular Schedule:

• Saturday early morning — Pick-up from Manila to San Teodoro, Mabini
• Sunday afternoon — Pick-up from San Teodoro, Mabini back to Manila
• Pick-up points along EDSA, SLEX exits and STAR Toll exits. Cavite route is also available.
• Every Saturday and Sunday (regular schedule).
• Weekday trips are limited and subject to car pooler availability.

Rinse off your gear and yourself at our outdoor showers before heading inside.

📋 IMPORTANT REMINDERS

For shared room arrangement:

🔐 Secure your own belongings.

🌙 Lights out at 10PM in shared rooms. Use your phone's flashlight and respect sleeping roommates.

🚿 Use the outdoor showers to wash off sand and salt before heading in.

🚭 POLICIES TO KEEP IT PARADISE

🚫 No Smoking / Vaping in all common areas, rooms, or indoor areas — ₱2,500 fine applies.

🚫 No eating or drinking inside the rooms.

📶 WIFI & TECH

Starlink WiFi is available for ₱50 per device connection which is good for the whole stay.

Bring your device to a kitchen staff or manager on duty to connect your device.

Please do not share the password to other guests or device.

Unauthorized connections will be paused.

🛏️ WHAT'S IN YOUR BED SPACE

Each bed comes with:

• Clean sheets
• Pillow
• Blanket
• Optional: Towels are available for rent at ₱50 per towel.

⚠️ Damaged or heavily stained linens (e.g. makeup, body oils, alcohol spills, tattoo ink) may be charged a cleaning/replacement fee.

🧼 ISLAND ETIQUETTE

👣 Leave shoes and sandals outside your room—keep the beach where it belongs.

🍽️ This is a self-service resort:

Order at the kitchen and bar counters

Get your own water, condiments, and utensils at the kitchen counter

Return empty bottles and dishes at the kitchen counter

🎸 Enjoy our guitars, books, and board games—but return them after use

🐾 PET POLICY

We love animals! Pets are welcome, but must wear a diaper when entering the rooms.

Pets must be vaccinated and okay to mingle with our resident dogs.

Remind pets to keep their bark-o-meters and purr-fect manners in check 🐾
